    Hi just starting to do weight training, Im a bit unsure to what protein powder is best- a soy product or whey? What are the advantages of each and which one is more readily absorbed by the body?

    Both are readily absorbed by the body but there is an argument that phytoestrogens in soy may not be that good for males.

    Then there is a counter argument… Just google soy and bodybuilding

    In the end you’ve got to make up your own mind.

    In my opinion you want to avoid soy at every opportunity. I don’t think I’ve ever gone looking for the counter argument. 😀
