and do you really need that much protein in a day?March 11, 2009 at 7:36 am #7879
Yes it will put on extra stress to your kidneys. You shouldn’t get stones though, or else you’d know about it (immense pain)
Whats your urine like? Colour? smelly? Frothy?
Dave, I don’t mean to be in opposition 🙂March 11, 2009 at 11:36 am #7880
ive been thinking about keytone strips but there mostly for carbs my urine colour changes smell is only really noticeable on big cardio mornings with not much carbs though i do usually keep carbs down i allway use small amounts maybe 30 gs for a train to keep training and cas u do need it to process fat (so basicly smelly oily piss when u skip a carb and train )March 11, 2009 at 11:46 pm #7881
He said crap out his kidneys thats why i said no 😀 Strain yes, blow up the ol kidneys i doubt it.
Replace some of that protein with carbs and fats for a bit more balance in your diet.March 13, 2009 at 12:21 am #7882
There’s no evidence that it will even strain the kidneys.
I think you’re much more likely to stuff up the digestive system (long before anything gets to internal organs) if you over do consumption of any food.
Just drinking to much water can kill you.March 13, 2009 at 2:19 am #7883
Thats a good point Doc
