Here's what Biotests
has to say about Methoxy-7.
Build
muscle and lose fat at the same time! After one university
study and several blood trials, as well as ample empirical
data, it's a fact: Methoxy-7 does indeed work! You absolutely
can increase the rates at which you build muscle and lose
fat! But we didn't stop there. We took the next anabolic/lipolytic
step.
We've
invented a brand new compound that literally makes 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone
completely obsolete! In fact, even though our new formula
is still called Methoxy-7, the design has changed so dramatically
that there's no methoxy left in the molecule.
It's
summer 1979…
I'm
racing through the Missouri boondocks in my white Trans-Am
with Susiebaby, who just happens to be the cutest little
hottie in all of Andrew County. We're on the way to Schweizer's
hole for some serious skinny-dipping (her mother thinks
we're picking raspberries)… Punching through the FM
stations, I'm careful to avoid anything from the likes of
Donna Summer, Barry Manilow, Gino Vannelli, or any other
polyester freaks of pop-culture mania.
I
land on M-M-M-My Sharona, turn the V way up, kick in the
ram-air, and turn my mind to a more intellectual endeavor…
planning my strategy for peeling off those membrane-tight
501 short-shorts. Not mine, silly, hers… Yee-haa!
Meanwhile,
in a much more somber setting — the United States
Patent Office — a company from Budapest, Hungary,
called Chinoin, is filing patent number 4,163,746. Little
did they realize that 20 years later, their invention would
revolutionize physique augmentation…
The
patent lists a compound that's specifically designed to
promote anabolism and lipolysis simultaneously. The purpose?
To pack lean mass and lean mass only on cattle and pigs
in order to produce a higher-quality meat yield. Additionally,
the invention is intended for use in humans to speed recovery
from debilitating illnesses.
The
compound is listed as a "metabolic agent" that
produces "anabolic activities" without exhibiting
any "androgenic or liver-damaging side effects."
In other words, Chinoin invented the ultimate anabolic agent
— an effective muscle builder with long-term safety.
Additionally,
Chinoin found that the compound significantly increases
calcium, phosphorous, and nitrogen retention, which further
indicates its anabolic nature.
Switching
to the healthy side of the equation, this anabolic critter
promotes fat loss without stimulating the central-nervous
system (a fact we also confirmed in a university study).
It even reduces blood-cholesterol levels, making the compound
an ideal adjunct treatment for arteriosclerosis and type-2
diabetes.
In
case you haven't figured it out, I'm talking about 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone,
otherwise known as Methoxy-7.
Exciting New Development…
What
I'm about to tell you is not just another Methoxy-7 story.
It seems like every muscle rag is on the methoxy bandwagon
these days, and the last thing you need is a rehashing of
what's already been said. Instead, what comes next is not
only hot new info, but it'll blow your mind and turn the
entire supplement industry upside down, as far as methoxy
is concerned.
We've
invented a brand new compound that literally makes 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone
completely obsolete! In fact, even though our new formula
is still called Methoxy-7, the design has changed so dramatically
that there's no methoxy left in the molecule.
What's
more, the new compound is so much more powerful than regular
methoxy that it's like a Ninja bike racing a moped. Gram
for gram it's twice as potent, has four times the active
life, and 100% gets converted into the active metabolic
agent.
But
before I get into the specifics of the new design, I want
to take a quick look at the old methoxy. Does it work or
not?
Is Methoxy Like HMB or Deca, or Somewhere In Between?
All
in all, the old Methoxy-7 showed a great deal of promise.
But did it pan out in the real world, in the gym and on
the scales?
Well,
the answer is a conditional yes!
The
reason I said results are "conditional," is because
there are four key factors that must be successfully dealt
with before you see muscle gains and fat loss. It's just
like taking steroids. If you don't achieve and sustain high
enough blood levels, you can kiss results goodbye, bubba.
Biotest
brought Methoxy-7 to the supplement industry, which has
resulted in many new products hitting the market that contain
the anabolic flavone. Unfortunately, most of the companies
that developed these supplements didn't pay attention to
the doses required for muscle-building results or the delivery
system required to efficiently load the body. As a result,
most of the methoxy products don't work!
On
the other hand, Biotest funded research to find out the
facts. We knew we needed better answers. We wanted to determine
the effective dose for achieving maximum results. We also
wanted to evaluate just how effective our delivery system
is.
Bottom
line, after one university study and several blood trials,
as well as ample empirical data, we've now determined that
Methoxy-7 does indeed work! You absolutely can increase
the rates at which you build muscle and lose fat! But, you
have two high hurdles to overcome before getting the gold.
In other words, if you don't incorporate the proper dosing
and delivery parameters with methoxy, it'll be as effective
as HMB — it won't work!
The
first obstacle we tackled was the delivery system. We found
that our liquid system is approximately 10 times more efficient
than regular, encapsulated methoxy at achieving optimal
blood concentrations. So, you'd have to take 1000 mg of
the regular stuff to get the same amount in the body as
you’d achieve with 100 mg of our Methoxy-7 liquid.
Based on our calculations, our liquid transports nearly
100% of the methoxy into the body.
So,
as you can see, it's no surprise that most of the other
products on the market don't work. You'd have to take 15
grams of the stuff a day! And at those amounts, you're bound
to have an absorption problem. Our only conclusion is that
it's impossible to achieve optimal results without a delivery
system as effective as our liquid.
You
can say that I'm biased, that I have an economic interest
in essentially saying our liquid is the only one that works.
I'm also dead-on right. Just because I have an economic
interest in something doesn't preclude me from stating the
facts. And it's a fact: Our liquid is the only effective
delivery system for methoxy that's currently on the market.
Does
that mean that there never will be another method of delivery
as good or even better? Absolutely not! In fact, it's hard
for me to intellectually fathom the idea that other methods
couldn't be developed. It's just that, other than Biotest,
no one has produced one to date.
The
second very important discovery we made has to do with dosing.
We began our research using a daily dose of 800 mg (400
mg 2x/day). Later on, however, we determined that 800 mg
was too low, and that 1500 mg is the ideal dosage for all
the subjects we evaluated. Statistically, we did see anabolic/lipolytic
trends at 800 mg, but 1500 is where you really notice the
effects.
But
even at the 800-mg level, in eight weeks, subjects gained
2.8 pounds of LBM and lost 3 pounds of body fat without
reducing calories. And when you increase the dosage to 1500
mg a day, results seem to more than double, which is spectacular
considering we're not affecting androgen levels.
Yo! Methoxy is Not the Real Active Ingredient.
Since
we first produced Methoxy-7, we've been looking for ways
to improve the compound. We solved the delivery problem
and determined the dosing protocol, but there were another
two big issues that were still standing in the way of maximum
performance: The active life of methoxy is too short, and
only 50% gets converted into the real active ingredient.
First
of all, 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone is not the actual
compound that's active in the body. To have an effect, your
liver has to first convert the methoxy into hydroxy. Unfortunately,
only half of the methoxy that ends up in the blood stream
makes the conversion. The remaining half is put off as waste.
The other problem is the active life of methoxy. It's only
about three hours, which means that you ideally would need
to take a dose every three hours — not convenient.
"Okay,
why don't you just produce 5-methyl-7-hydroxy-isoflavone
instead off methoxy, Patterson? That'll take care of the
conversion problem, right?" Wrong, bucco, if you begin
with an "unprotected" hydroxy version, your liver
will destroy 100% during the first pass-through. That's
the reason for using methoxy in the first place.
During
the first pass-through, the liver gets the methoxy group
of the molecule in its crosshairs and blows that sucker
into hydroxy, which is what we want. So, unless there's
an alternative protection mechanism during the first pass-through,
methoxy is required.
On
the other hand, if we could make 5-methyl-7-hydroxy-isoflavone
and "protect" it from the liver gangsta, we'd
hit a grand-slam homerun, which is what Biotest set out
to do — "buy" some protection. And when
we need protection for our molecules, there's only one pharmacology
hitman to turn to, our drug-chemistry strong-arm, Bill Roberts.
The
Assignment:
Determine how to protect hydroxy so that 100% of the material
can be used by the body.
Bill
reviewed all of the current technology for "protecting"
drugs during the metabolic processes and uncovered a method
that not only works, but is perfectly suited for the chemical
structure. Bill came back with the verdict plus a bonus:
"Yes, not only can we protect the hydroxy group, there's
also a way to lengthen the active life to 12 hours!"
"Let
me get this straight, Bill. Do you mean that your chemical-engineered
version of hydroxy will, in fact, get 100% of the material
into the blood, convert all of it into the active ingredient,
and extend the active life to 12 freakin' hours?"
"Yes,
yes, and yes, Tim."
"Bill,
that's sweeet…"
Essentially,
Bill altered the molecule by adding an ethylcarbonate-ester
protective group at the 7-hydroxy position. This means that
the liver will rip off the ethylcarbonate-ester chunk of
the compound, leaving the hydroxy intact to do its job —
building muscle and metabolizing fat. Here's the full name
of our new — patent pending — Methoxy-7 formula:
5-methyl-7-hydroxy-isoflavone
ethylcarbonate ester (7-Hydroxy-EC)
There's
more… After we had the new Methoxy-7 ready to go,
I took the design to a biotech company that has a lot of
experience in developing complex emulsion systems for the
pharmaceutical industry. This is a chemical-engineering
group that multi-billion-dollar drug companies refer to
when they get stumped. Not only are these boys good, they're
the best we could find.
My
instructions to the engineering team were simple:
•
Design the most effective emulsion system possible
• Spare no expense
• Make it taste incredible!
It
took the company about three weeks to get the project done,
which is about one-third the time I expected. Frank, the
engineer in charge of the project, said that he was 100%
confident that the new emulsion system is far better than
our old one. Plus, he assured me that the flavor would surpass
my greatest expectations.
The
next day, when I received the first sample batch of the
new Methoxy-7, my first impression was that the emulsion
system is very clean. The appearance is somewhat translucent
and consistency is homogenous. But what really surprised
me was when I took a dose. As the teaspoon was nearing my
mouth, I got a whiff of what smelled like, of all things,
bubble gum! I mean real bubble gum. And guess what? It tastes
like real bubble gum, too. It's great!
I
thought that maybe my taste buds were playing tricks on
me, or it was optimistic thinking that was convincing me
the flavor was incredible. So I gave two of my assistants
a dose and watched their expressions. Immediately, both
guys began fighting over who got the bottle. And everyone
else who has tasted the new Methoxy-7 is absolutely blown
away by the flavor.
In
fact, we're probably going to have to hide the stuff from
our CFO, Dave Ramona, because Dave doesn't have an "off"
button. This guy, I'm not exaggerating, eats (yes, eats)
Power Drive, Advanced Protein, and Biotest Surge right out
of the containers, using the scoops as very-big spoons.
Watching
one of Dave's feeding frenzies is like watching a scene
right out of Scarface. Remember when Al Pacino had white
cocaine smudged on his nose? That's Dave, except the white
powder is a Biotest supplement and, instead of just on his
nose, he also has white powder on both cheeks, his lips,
the front of his shirt, the floor, and everything and everyone
within six feet.
What
else is fascinating about Dave is that he's both an intellectual
and physical genetic freak. He aced the Yale MBA program
and he's H-U-G-E, naturally. When I say naturally, not only
do I mean without 'roids, I also mean without training.
This guy works one body part once every 10 days (if that).
And it's not because he's worried about overtraining, for
goodness sakes. He just doesn't like to work out.
With
that in mind, get this: Dave has 19.5-inch upper arms (cold),
weighs 234 pounds, and is always just a notch away from
being shredded to the bone. In other words, I bet Dave could
get up from his desk right now, walk onto the stage of a
regional bodybuilding contest, and win the sucker. And this
guy is our CFO (chief financial officer).
Anyway,
the next step we took with Methoxy-7 was a lot more than
just a slight improvement. We took the Methoxy-7 technology
and improved its performance so much that it can't even
be compared to the old version. It's like they're completely
different animals. And chemically speaking, they are.
We Hit pay Dirt!
As
far as results are concerned, the new Methoxy-7 puts the
old version to shame. And the old version was one of our
favorite products among staff members, as well as elite
athletes. It was also one of our best sellers. So I'm not
trash talking the old Methoxy-7, because it's effective.
But the new design is that much better.
Like
I've already mentioned, the new Methoxy-7 has four times
the active life (12 hours), nearly 100% of the material
gets into the bloodstream, and 100% converts into the active
hydroxy. As a result, you only need to take 750 mg a day
(375 mg 2x/day) to achieve more of an effect than what 1500
mg of the old version would produce.
I'm
not going to make claims about how much lean mass you'll
gain from the new Methoxy-7, or how much fat you'll lose.
I'm going to do something different. I'm going to let you
experience the results yourself. Then, if you're inclined,
you can send me a report of what happens. The reason? Because
you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you what to expect.
The new Methoxy-7 is really that good.
