A low DE white powder maltodextrin made by controlled hydrolysis of maize starch. A complex carbohydrate consisting of dextrose (glucose), maltose, maltotriose and higher polysaccharides. Poslysaccharides with a dextrose equivilance (DE) of less than 20 as classed as maltodextrins.
